Spin up a shadow
A native Git worktree gives each agent a clean, isolated branch of your project.
Git worktrees give each agent its own folder and branch in the same repository. Git Ghost is designed to run Claude Code, Codex, and local agents there while you keep editing main.

Git Ghost puts agent work in its own corner of the repo. You keep moving in the one you know.

The agent works in the background. Your main workspace stays open for you.
Inspect the changes and bring them back when theyβre ready. Fast-forward only when Git allows it.
A native Git worktree is an additional working directory linked to the same repository. It shares commit history, while checking out its own files on its own branch.
